Microblading is a semi-permanent make-up procedure where hair like strokes are placed along the eyebrow to enhance, reshape or recreate natural looking eyebrows. Luvhaus beauty technicians are trained to use a personalized approach based on clients face shape, and desired eyebrow shape to get the eyebrows of their choice.

The process is extremely detailed and can take up to 2 hours to complete. During the appointment, Luv client will spend approximately 15 minutes going over the procedure, and aftercare details, filling out the information and consent form. Luv Beauty Technician will spend approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour on carefully sketching, measuring and shaping the eyebrows based on client’s natural shape, face shape and desired eyebrow shape. Remainder of the time is used for the Microblading procedure.

Luvhaus technicians use Tina Davies precision Microblading Blades; this is a tool shaped like a thin pen, consisting of approximately 12 needles on the end in a slanted row. This tool is used to create small incisions to replicate hair strokes on the eyebrow. The needle, very finely implants featherweight strokes with a medical grade pigment on the epidermis layer of the skin. This creates fine, realistic and natural looking hair stroke.

Once procedure is complete, all Luv clients are provided with aftercare instructions and ointment which will help the healing of the eyebrow. Depending on the texture of the skin, results can last anywhere between 1 ½ years to 2 years, until touch up is required.

Microblading is an advanced technique and requires prior knowledge of permanent makeup basics such as skin morphology, color theory, safety standards, hygiene, contraindications, design, and most importantly, the understanding of risks of blood-borne pathogens. Beauty technicians at Luvhaus are fully trained and certified for the Microblading procedure through the Canadian beauty college and have years of experience through practice.

Day 1:

Gently blot the area with clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5 minutes for the full day. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymph. Before sleeping, apply the ointment.

Days 1-7:

Wash daily to remove any bacteria and dead skin. Gently wash your eyebrows each morning and night with water and an antibacterial soap. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the eyebrows and rinse with water. To dry, gently pat. Apply aftercare ointment with a cotton swab across the treated area. Do not to over-apply as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing.
